We offer a wide variety of services, educational opportunities, and advocacy programs both for the Latinx community and to help build bridges between our community and local residents, business, agencies, and organizations. SOCIAL JUSTICE

We work to create positive change on important issues facing Latinxs. These have included access to education, immigration, language access, police-community relations, transportation, and other issues of concern.

We also hold events to help educate the broader community on

these issues and to bring relevant information to Latinxs. These include Know Your Rights seminars, community discussion forums, and presentations at conferences and classes.

IMMIGRANT RIGHTS CAMPAIGN

We fight for the right to legal residency for all recent immigrants! The La Conexión Immigrant Rights Program is a three-pronged effort to:

  1. Build power at the base by educating, informing and organizing the immigrant community;

  2. Build solidarity structures to support the immigrant community;

  3. Work for policy and institutional change to create welcoming, safe and inclusive communities.

See more in our tab about the Northwest Ohio Immigrant Rights Network.

for organizations, agencies, and institutions to partner with to help better reach the Latinx community. If you have a need or an idea
